PrinciplesIt is our policy that all children should wear clothing that is in keeping with a purposeful learning ethos. We also believe it is important that certain activities are facilitated by specialised and appropriate clothing when attending school, or when participating in a school-organised event outside normal school hours. Please note that it is expected that all children will wear the appropriate clothing at the appropriate time. This is very important for Health and Safety reasons in Physical Education. JewelleryOn health and safety grounds we do not allow children to wear jewellery in our school (with the exception of Year 6 who may wear a watch).Make up and CosmeticsMake up and cosmetics are not considered appropriate or consistent with our school uniform. The school does not permit such products to be worn by any children, unless there is a specific religious event for which the Head has given permission.
All clothing and footwear should be clearly labelled with your child’s name
This policy will be enforced without exception from September 2008.
