School Uniform Guide

At Borden Primary school we believe that children should wear clothing that is in keeping with a purposeful learning ethos and that certain activities are facilitated by appropriate clothing when attending school.

We believe that a school uniform:

Promotes a sense of pride in the school
Engenders a feeling of community and belonging
Identifies the children within the school
Makes children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance
Is not distracting in class (as fashion clothes might be)
Is regarded as suitable and value for money by most parents.

Our colours are red, grey and white and our uniform is as follows;

A red sweatshirt or cardigan or
A red fleece jacket with school logo.
A white polo shirt with school logo.
Grey trousers or skirt
Black shoes
